Papergoods: La Paperie & Cozy

I have a “thing” for blank journals.  Seriously.  The pure satisfaction I derive from opening a new journal to the first blank page is unimaginable.  Imagine my utter awe then, of La Paperie & Cozy…a one woman bindery in Nova Scotia.  The workmanship that goes into these journals is astounding.  Says Bev:  “I spend a lot of time selecting beautiful leathers, creating original style combinations to make your journal “haute couture”  And it shows.  Wow.

“I carry your heart with me . ee cummings . Handbound Leather Journal”.

Ah! I’m the same way with blank journals. Then again, I have so many I never filled because nothing ever feels worthy of those beautiful pages.. Okay so maybe I’m crazy. I was also overjoyed to find that shop. I decided to get a guestbook for my wedding from her.
