Friday’s Tidbit: Nifty Mushrooms from The Little Red Door

There are so many nifty items I could have choosen to feature from
The Little Red Door, but since I loooooove all things mushroom-y, I settled on these little beauties.  Each mushroom is sold separately, but I thought this pic shows off a bit of the variety you’ll find in this sweet little shop!

These little mushrooms make colourful & interesting additions to potted plants, flower beds, window boxes, curio shelves, mantels, anywhere for a touch of whimsy.   All are truly one of a kind, no two are identical.   This mini mushroom was hand-formed buff white stoneware clay, dried, bisque-fired, glazed, then fired again @ cone 6. Completion of a miniature item from lump of clay to glossy little objet d’art is about 2 weeks.

Besides mushrooms, The Little Red Door is full of cute tiny little houses, full sized housewares and pretty ceramic pendants.  You’ll find all kinds of treasures to add a touch of whimsy wherever it’s needed!
