Peppermaster’s Sexy Salsa Financing Project

Many of you will remember our post about Peppermaster:  A Culinary Adventure…spicey, yummy sauces and mashes made from locally produced and fair trade sourced hot peppers.  Well, it would seem that they could use a bit of a hand…here’s Tina Brooks, VP Marketing, Peppermaster(TM) Hot Sauces to let you know what’s going on, and how you can help:

Our company Brooks Pepperfire Foods a small independently owned hot sauce company and small batch co-packer has been rapidly expanding.

We have been working with a Government funded company CIDEM-Techno (http://www.cidem.ca) to upgrade our business operations and open our new kitchen using the available government small businesses assistance. The spinoff of this project was 12 new jobs which are sorely needed. An abrupt closure of CIDEM-Techno, who was providing our financial and technical business advisors, has forced us to come up with an interim solution that will buy us the time to replace these much needed resources. We have a new local first fair trade salsa line scheduled for launch at the end of June, so in order to pay for the advisors and continue the project, we are pre-selling cases of the Salsa.

Gallery: Treats for Teachers

  1. Ginko Leaf Fused Glass Purse Hanger, by Penny Glass Girl:  These purse hangers are a great accessory, especially for those who love bags and purses (like me!). The hanger sits on top of a table surface and hangs your bag underneath the table, keeping it clean, dry and within eyesight when in public.
  2. Little Bird has a lot to say Tote Bay, by Zomb:  One of my most popular designs is now featured on a gorgeous royal blue light tote bag.  The design is screen-printed on a 100% cotton tote, measuring 15 inches wide by 16 inches tall. Professional inks have been used and the print will in NO way fade or crack after washing.
  3. Amy Butler Key Fob Key Chain, by Snugnluv:  This listing is for a handmade key FOB, with all of the hardware attached. Gorgeous, Amy Butler fabric and high quality cotton webbing and key ring. (from etsy seller myneedleandthread) 5.25″ opening for your hand.
  4. Slip Cover for Netbook or Book, by Little Raven:  This is a flat cloth pouch. The outside is a fine-grained brown corduroy, and the lining is cotton print with a gold-trimmed Asian garden design.
  5. Bluebird of Happiness Next Pendant, by Winged Heart Studio:  This beautiful little nest is a bit bigger than a nickel and woven out of about 6 feet of sterling silver wire. It contains 3 beautiful freshwater pearl ‘eggs’ and hangs from a 16 inch chain.
  6. Eco Coffee Sleeve, Neon Apples by She Sews Lovely:  This warm & cozy eco coffee cup sleeve is all about the apples! It’s made with 100% cotton fabric – a funky, neon green and yellow Japanese print with juicy red apples. A coordinating colour of soft flannel lines the sleeve.
  7. Teacher Appreciation Signature Card, by StuffbySteph:  A little different for StuffbySteph, this card is constructed with the idea of having more than one signature in it; I have sewn a second card inside to provide more room for this.
