Okay folks, time to meet the only dress you’re going to need for a very, very long time! This is The Chameleon Dress from Isadora Clothing, and it is absolutely fantastic! It would be gorgeous just as it is…but this dress can be rearranged through some fairly easy fabric twisting and wrapping to create an endless array of design options. Sleeves or no, wrapped or sashed…you can do almost anything…and if you add in a matching tube top or two, you will never run out of options! Available in a ton of colours, and a wide variety of fabrics, this is the best dress ever!
Just for fun, check out this video…it’s just one example of the hundreds of ways to wear this dress!
And now for something completely different!
I’m really enjoying all the great feedback I’ve been getting on IndieNorth ad contests, so we’re gonna do it again…BUT! This time we’re gonna change it up a bit!
You Canadian Indie-business folks work hard, right? It’s time for a wee little contest just for you! This time we’re gonna play:
Sponsor Run!
*In order to enter this particular contest, you must be a Canadian running a business in Canada, and you must have a web presence. Either a shop, or a website for instance.
To enter:
Go check out one of our fabulous sponsors, listed in the sidebar to the far right, and come back here and comment about which shop you visited, and what tickled your fancy!
You can enter once each day, but you must visit a different sponsor for each entry!
For Extra Entries, once per day, you can:
“what’s the prize”, you ask?
There will be two levels of prizes…
One Static Spot that will appear every time a visitor comes to IndieNorth, in random order, in the right sidebar
Three Rotating Spots will rotate with others in the same section at the bottom of the right sidebar.
So please, please, please spread the word about this contest…I really think it will be a fun way to get the word around about all the fabulous Canadian talent out there!
The not so fine print…winners will be contacted on Monday July 3rd via the e-mail address they provide, and will have 48 hours to provide me with a 125 pixel banner. If I don’t receive the banner ad by the end of 48 hours, I’ll have to choose a new winner.
Good luck, and please, twitter, facepook, plurk and post about this contest! Let’s make it a biggie!
H Penny! Congratulations, I hope you really enjoy your fabulous necklace! We wanna see pics!!

oooh, I love this bracelet. It brings to mind kayaking and canoe trips, and the smooth rocks of Georgian Bay. What a great etsy shop – I’m planning some great gifts from there now that I’ve seen her stuff (and I may even give some of those gifts to others – or maybe just treat myself! ** wink, wink)
I want to thank everyone who entered, for your support of both IndieNorth and String Me Along! It is very sincerely appreciated!
And a very special thank you to Carol from String Me Along, who made this contest possible. It’s been really fun!

Gorgeous purses and wallets take their place beside fabulous decor items. The coolest part? Many of the Oh So Retro products are customizable, giving you the chance to “Build Your Own” by choosing from a fabulous selection of fabric. When you check out the store, please make sure you have a look at what just might be the cutest piece of home decor ever…The bookshelf Bird. I love them all!
