Ad Contest for Canadian Indies, Sponsored by IndieNorth

And now for something completely different!  ;)

I’m really enjoying all the great feedback I’ve been getting on IndieNorth ad contests, so we’re gonna do it again…BUT!  This time we’re gonna change it up a bit!

You Canadian Indie-business folks work hard, right?  It’s time for a wee little contest just for you!  This time we’re gonna play:

Sponsor Run!

*In order to enter this particular contest, you must be a Canadian running a business in Canada, and you must have a web presence.  Either a shop, or a website for instance.

To enter:

Go check out one of our fabulous sponsors, listed in the sidebar to the far right, and come back here and comment about which shop you visited, and what tickled your fancy!

You can enter once each day, but you must visit a different sponsor for each entry!

For Extra Entries, once per day, you can:

  1. Follow IndieNorth on Twitter:  http://www.twitter.com/indienorth
  2. Twitter about the contest (one entry per day, please make sure you @ me, and comment here)

what’s the prize”, you ask?

There will be two levels of prizes…

One Static Spot that will appear every time a visitor comes to IndieNorth, in random order, in the right sidebar

Three Rotating Spots will rotate with others in the same section at the bottom of the right sidebar.

So please, please, please spread the word about this contest…I really think it will be a fun way to get the word around about all the fabulous Canadian talent out there!

The not so fine print…winners will be contacted on Monday July 3rd via the e-mail address they provide, and will have 48 hours to provide me with a 125 pixel banner.  If I don’t receive the banner ad by the end of 48 hours, I’ll have to choose a new winner.

Good luck, and please, twitter, facepook, plurk and post about this contest!  Let’s make it a biggie!

  4. Yummy cupcakes! I gained weight just looking at them, being a lemon fiend I’m now craving a meringue.

I also took a look at Market Moms – very cool site. I left the page open to go look at it again later.

I recommend everyone check out She Sews Lovely – fabulous practical product that every coffee fiend out there could use. Also, Zig Zag Stiches, her portable knitting set (found under Boxy Bag Sets) makes me want to take up knitting again!!!

    I’ll be tweeting!

    I visited http://www.nunofakind.com

It caught my eye because my dad is in a singing group in which the members all (yes, even the men!) dress up like nuns and perform for various charity/fundraising groups. Because of his involvement with the group, I am always on the lookout for different “nunny” gift ideas.

I liked this shop because they had a lot of really cute, unique items. Everything was very well-presented and well-priced. I have bookmarked it so that I can return for one of the fun nuns. http://www.nunofakind.com/thenunnery.htm
So far, “Nuns ‘n’ Roses” is my pick, but I have an idea in mind for a custom piece…
