My Jaunty New Hat from A Dame Named Redd
HA! I’ve always wanted to use the word jaunty, and now I can, thanks to this awesome hat from A Dame Named Redd! It is absolutely fabulous, and I love it to bits. Made from soft raspberry coloured wool, with a fantastic black and white rose on the side, this hat is soft and warm and six kinds of fun to wear!
And, in case anyone is harumph-y because I snaffled this beauty out from under them, A Dame Named Redd also does custom orders, and she’s extremely easy to chat with…so go check out all the awesome-ness she has in her many shops today!

Vintage Sunday: Pill Box Hat by Mail Order Vintage
I love hats, and I especially love vintage ones, so I’m rather exited to find Mail Order Vintage stocked with quite a few.
Lovely black velvet pillbox hat. It has a satin ribbon secured around it with a large satin double bow at the back.
The inside of the hat’s label says ‘Miss Lynn Made in USA.

Saturday Showcase: Monkey’s Jewels

Friday’s Tidbit: The Cutest Camera Case Ever, from Hine
Don’t you just love this sweet camera case from Hine?
This is an original design, 3D digital camera shaped felt pouch for digital cameras, etc…
It’s carefully HAND-STITCHED by me, with a button & a string closure. There is a little pocket on the back, so you can put your batteries, MOO Minicards or small things in. The main stitch color is dark rose.
Materials : Outside – high quality Japanese 2 mm thick felt (orange/eggplant), Lining – pink 1 mm felt, cotton fabric, new & vintage buttons, string.
Measurements : (INTERNAL dimensions) : about 3 3/4″ x 1 1/8″ x 2 3/4″ (9.5 x 2.8 x 7 cm), Pocket 2 1/8″ x 2 3/4″ (5.5 x 6.8 cm)
If you would like to use it for your digital camera, please check the size.
For your reference, the measurement of my camera on the images would be about 3 3/8″ x 7/8″ x 2 1/4″ (8.5 x 2.3 x 5.8). And my bigger camera (about 3 1/2″ x 1″ x 2 1/4″) also fits in perfectly.Each ‘Degicame’ is UNIQUE!
