I looooove quilts.  I mean, I really realllllly love them, so obviously I spend a lot of time gazing in awe at the gorgeous selection available over at Quiltlover’s etsy shop!

1. All Mixed Up Twin Bed Quilt:  ALL MIXED UP is what you get when you combine some Michael Miller “Belize Bloom”, “Boho Blossoms”, “Pink Water Spot”, “Bolero” by Alexander Henry and some vivid QuiltLovers imagination.  Add a Hobbs Soft Loft Batting, vivid variegated thread and fantasy freemotion quilting and the result is a fun, fresh and funky Quilt that is easy care and colorful.
2. Pacman in Aqua, tangerine, yellow blue & green:  PACMAN is made with the Crazy Curves templates by Eliza’s Backporch Designs, a favorite of mine. I never know the outcome when I make one of these Quilts, as I just cut and sew the pieces and let the design of the fabric speak in the final layout.  Bright colors in Kaleidoscope and Ribbon designs lend themselves perfectly for the Crazy curves Pattern used to make this Lap Quilt. Aqua and tangerine, black and rust, olive and line all mingle with ease and make a very striking Quilt. This fabric line was designed by Paula Nadelstern for Bernatex and boast outstanding clarity in color and quality of fabric.  Backed with a tangerine colored Fossil Fern cotton by Bernatex, I used a Hobbs soft loft Poly Batting for softness and an open machine quilting design with a variegated thread to bring a bit of texture to this Quilt. It is bound in solid Kona black by machine.
3. Coffee Cream and Daisies Lap Quilt:  Beautiful shades in taupe, brown, tan, ever popular this season, come together in this Quilt showcasing large scale floral from the Mocha Meringue collection of Michelle D’Amore for Marcus Brothers. Coffee and Cream seem so appropriate to describe the colors in this Quilts as well as butterscotch and caramel. Are you hungry yet? Beautiful large scale Daisies in soft white and ice gray, along with chocolate colored bubbles and caramel stripes make up the squares.  A simple design featuring pretty neutral colors with style and sophistication.  Backed with a tan tone on tone, filled with Hobbs 80/20 batting, and machine quilted by me in a crisp leaf pattern, this Quilt is easy care. Machine wash and dry.
