Sunday Craft: Beautiful Handcrafted Beads from Too Aquarius

tooaquarius

I am utterly astounded by the fact that these beautiful, intricate beads are actually made from polymer clay…no paint is used at all!  Elaine from Too Aquarius creates the colours and designs by carefully mixing and building up blends and stacks of clay, which are then stretched and reduced to tiny graphics, sliced and applied to beads. Says Elaine:

“My favourite designs are often flowers and little faces hiding in them for a bit of a fairytale quality on each bead”.

So Beautiful!

  1. Lavender Fields Girl clay polymer bead set:  Six (6) pebble beads covered in my purple lavender floral canework. Each bead has one little shy face peeking out from the flowers. All canework is my own.
  2. Sea Gardens Polymer Clay Lentils Beads:  A dozen blue-green beads with turquoise roses and flowers, little white daisies and sweet blue butterflies. At age 4 my daughter called this design the ‘sea garden’ and it stuck. All canework is my own.
  3. Pointsettia on Crimson Lentil Polymer Clay Bead Set:  Six (6) crimson lentil beads with two tones of poinsettia designs. All canework is my own.

  1. Not only are Elaine’s beads lovely, so is she! She is a kind and generous person who puts her heart and soul into everything she makes. When you buy her beads you’ll know there is a lot of love put into them!
