Okay before we start, I should say that Ashley from Off The Hooks has just the most gorgeous selection of handspun, hand painted yarns in her shop, so if you’re hankering for a bit of colour, you need to check out all the beautiful yarns available in her shop.
This stunning and deceptively simple yarn caught my attention immediately while poking around at Off The Hooks. It is just so rich and creamy looking I couldn’t resist featuring it as the week’s Tidbit.

Pearls Naturally White Undyed Handspun Merino Art Yarn:
Exquisitely soft and elegant; pictures do not do justice on this yarn!
100% undyed, natural merino. Spun thick ‘n thin like a cloud on my Ashford traditional spinning wheel. Spun Bulky on average worsted- chunky weight. Inclues lots of texture, thick to thin, bumpy, lumpy, and lush! Would make a great hat or neckwarmer. All my yarns have been set & pre-washed with a biodegradable yarn soap and come to you fresh & clean, ready for your next handmade project!
**this item is currently made to order- please allow 4-7 days for production**
thanks Beth!
the shop is currently pretty low in yarns, but I’m working hard to get some more spun up soon!!
If people have specific colors in mind, they can always feel free to convo me to see if its possible in a yarn!!
Oh Ashley, your wool has completely inspired me to learn how to knit. This one in particular is just so decadent!!!
Absolutely gorgeous yarn!! I’m with Beth… seriously need to learn to knit better so I can buy some of this *grin*
Lovely yarn!! I just bought a top whorl drop spindle and am looking forward to trying to spin my first yarns. I think Ashley’s yarns are just so gorgeous!!
Wow!!! Beautiful work Ashely.
what lovely yarn. it looks like the frosting on a cupcake.
I love Ashley’s yarn! I have bags full (more than 3, haha!) of wool out in the barn that needs spinning. I keep telling myself that I’ll get to it someday… Perhaps after Christmas I’ll have to dig out my spinning wheel and give it a go! In the meantime I’m off to drool over Ashley’s yarn and knitwear. So gorgeous!
