This is the biggest book I make, measuring 9″ high x 12″ wide and 1¾” thick. It boasts a generous 180 sheets or 360 pages (counting both sides) of high quality unlined ivory 50lb. Canson drawing paper which has been handtorn for a beautiful deckled edge. The paper has a slightly rough surface, making it perfect for any dry media as well as fountain pen. The pages are acid-free and archival ready for you to fill with your sketches, thoughts, musings and memories.

The luxuriant yet rugged leather cover is classic honey brown with subtle darker color variations throughout giving it an antique look. The book has a wrap-around flap and a coordinating leather cord interlocks the cover to the front flap, securely keeping the book closed and protecting the pages within. There is a very small natural hole in the leather, on the back of the journal (see last photo) which does not affect the aesthetics/function of the book.

The page sections have been hand-stitched to the leather cover with natural beeswaxed Irish linen thread, which is visible on the spine – it’s a very strong binding. This is a permanent binding, and therefore non-refillable.

The book comes with a little “card of interest” containing information about your book (the history of the binding and the type of stitch) – which makes a lovely addition as a gift.”

Fantastic!
